Our Platform Services

Four digital feature sets that complement the full cycle of trade between producers/traders and buyers.

Market Forecast

Participants will provide either their planting (producers and traders) or demand (buyers) calendar. Supply and demand forecasts will be reported.

Forward Contracts Market

Through an online reverse auction, buyers can post their open to buy requirements. Producers and traders can post offers to supply. Matched bids and offers are formalized thru a digital forward contract.

Warehouse Receipting

Fulfillment of delivery through accredited stockpoints. Stockpoints provide measurment, quality assurance, and storage services. Passing commodities are issued a warehouse receipt.

Spot Market

Surplus produce can be delivered to fulfillment centers and offered for sale. Through a forward auction, producers can create open to sell bids and wait for offers from buyers.

"Commodity exchanges bring together buyers and sellers in a centralized, transparent marketplace, **reducing the time and resources required for individual negotiations** and **promoting price discovery** through open competition."

These are the initial selected agricultural commodities to be traded. More will be added as sectors are prepared for digital trade.

Statement of the Secretary for Agriculture

Our goal is to modernize Philippine Agriculture to spread the benefits across the entire value chain. Farmers and fisherfolk should get fair value for their produce, prices of goods should be affordable, while traders, processors, and retailers should be able to generate reasonable profits.
